With the increasing globalisation of world trade and cross-border commercial
transactions, many law students plan for a career involving international
aspects.
As a result, the demand for Legal English is great. Naturally, as part of this
trend, legal employers are increasingly searching for employees who can prove
that they have the necessary English skills to enter the global legal market.
As a target exam, ILEC sets the parameters for a university’s learning
programme, ensuring that its students develop the English language skills they’ll
